Empty Bowls is a popular dinner and auction event that takes place each Fall. This event helps us raise general operations funds.
Through Empty Bowls, Pajaro Valley Loaves and Fishes joins with the local art community in a shared commitment to provide hunger relief to our neighbors in need. Local ceramic artists generously donate over 200 unique, handcrafted bowls for the event. Each guest selects a souvenir bowl and enjoys a savory meal of fine soups, salad, breads, wine, sparkling cider and desserts, while enjoying some wonderful company. The evening includes live and silent auctions and an exciting raffle featuring fine local artwork and crafts, goods and services.
It's a great gathering of friends and neighbors interested in helping the food-insecure members of our community. In addition to enjoying conversation over appetizers before dinner, guests enjoy a live auction and the results of the silent auction after dinner.
Pajaro Valley Loaves and Fishes is a community organization requiring expanded community involvement and a broad base of financial support. Please join us by taking an active part in the local fight against hunger and providing your support of this special event.
